An optimized torque transmission, high torque resistance and
extremely long working life are not without reason. It all depends on
the quality of the steels, the special hardening and tempering treat-
ments and the perfect fitting of the bit. Witte’s bit programme does
not allow for any compromises and offers the correct solution for
every requirement.
INDUSTRY
For screw driving with high and sudden increasing torque, e.g. when
driving screws with metal fittings into wood and when driving fasten-
ing screws with metric or other threads.
BITFLEX
The narrow recessed waist section reliably absorbs sudden and
exceeded peaks in torque overload. Thereby offering a longer working
life than experienced with normal bits. For example it is used for screw
driving of metallic devices.
EXTRA HARD
For screw driving with low and equally increasing torques, e.g. with
wood, tin or plaster board sheets.
TIN
This coating has a hardness in the range of 2800 HV – especially
­suitable in industrial use for continual screw driving.
DIAMOND
The extremely hard diamond particles make the bit more wear resistant
and considerably increase its durability and endurance. The micro particle
diamond coating consequently reduces the slipping out from the screw
head. Therefore the WITTE DIAMOND Bit is ideally suitable for use in
mechanical and automated series screw driving applications.
